Romero Britto, Royalty - Digital Screenprint with Diamond Powder

Once again, a sweet little dog plays the central role in the artwork by Romero Britto: "Royalty". This digital screenprint embellished with diamond powder, has a French bulldog as its subject.

As always in his works Romero Britto, contemporary artist of Brazilian origins, masters an amazing colorplay.

The dog with blue and big eyes was made by Britto Romero in different shades of grey.

The contrast with the colourful background with its playful geometric shapes seems to reveal the dual character of this puppy: the sweet and peaceful figure actually hides a playful soul.

The diamond powder that embellishes the crown of the puppy is the distinguishing mark of Romero Britto's work.

Romero Britto: Artist Biography

Romero Britto was born on October 6, 1963 in Recife, Brazil. After moving to Miami, he began his career as a self-taught artist, working alongside street artists and taking inspiration from their forms and techniques.

During a journey to Paris, the artist begins to identify himself through his personal and unique style. In the French capital, Britto was introduced to the works of masters such as Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, allowing him to develop his own technique, which the New York Times defines as a source of “warmth, optimism and love”.

Romero Britto developed a particular love for Cubism, that he featured and reinterpreted in the motives that characterize his paintings.

From the Parisian experience he will develop his iconic and unmistakable style: his works are characterized by a research of colours and positive vibrations, which, combined together, give life to bold and imaginative.

The artwork is delicate and requires a custom-made wooden box to protect it during transport. Delivery to EU countries takes 5-10 business days.
