Limited edition sculpture by Chirtsak Phaijitsattaya (IClim), Gold & Dark Chocolate - Small represents a reversed ice cream that, pouring towards the ground, shapes the support of the work itself.
In this version the sculpture is in gold and dark brown (dark chocolate): the bright colors and the soft shapes thus accentuate the joyful nature of the work, conveying happiness and positivity.
Gold & Dark Chocolate is in small size (24 cm width and 62 cm height) and it is made of resin, fiberglass, marble powder and wood. It belongs to limited edition of 99 units and each sculpture is signed and numbered in original by the artist. Gold & Dark Chocolateis also provided with the certificate of authenticity.
Known as iClim, Chirtsak Phaijitsattaya was born in 1957 in Thailand, where he began his passion for art as a child.
His skill and determination led him to become a professor of sculpture at Wangklaikangwon Industrial and Community College in 2001. At the same time, he became a teacher of papier-mache at Klai Kungwon Palace and received a medal from King Bhumiphol.
In 2010, he returned to work in Bangkok and the following year joined PAJ'Art Studio, where he works alongside artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga. For more than ten years, iClim has been working in the art studio and creating painted resin sculptures; he is also the head sculptor and supervisor of numerous art projects.
The iconic Ice Cream by iClim
Different colours, sizes and flavours, iClim's iconic Ice Creams are sculptures made of resin, fibreglass, marble powder and wood. The ice creams that Chirtsak represents are mostly arranged downwards while the flavour that envelops the sculpture seems to melt, creating the support on which the sculpture stands.
