THE ARTWORK

Mr. Brainwash - Best Friends - Blue

Best Friends Blue is the title of the beautiful silkscreen print on paper by Mr. Brainwash, available in world premiere at Deodato Arte. The size measures 57x76 cm and it is a limited edition of 45 signed and numbered pieces.

A boy and a girl are washing their dog in a large bucket. The faithful best friend features at the centre of the composition and the scene is an apotheosis of sweetness. Mr. Brainwash gives a childlike flavour to Best Friends, a return to childhood with the eyes of innocence.

The characters are drawn in black against a white background and the work is empowered by flashes of blue paint, including the inscription "LOVE" that stains the hair of the tender dog.

Who is Mr Brainwash aka Thierry Guetta?

Thierry Guetta, his real name, was born in France in Garges-lès-Gonesse and moved with his family to Los Angeles at the age of 15.

Mr. Brainwash entered the world of street art through his obsession with the camera Thierry Guetta in fact filmed everything from an early age.

Thanks to this obsession, Thierry began following his cousin Invader through the streets, filming him.

Soon, Mr. Brainwash finds himself filming all the world's most famous street art artists.

Mr. Brainwash, using the spray can and stencil technique, makes his paintings colourful.

The artwork is delicate and will be packed with bubble wrap and rigid supports to protect it from potential damage during transport. It does not require a wooden box and delivery to EU countries takes 2-5 business days.
